An Ember of fire burns deep  inside,..when it chooses to spread...nothing will be able to escape it's consuming flames......

A jaw-dropping,  hardcore band from the prairies which is sure to please. Complete with manic screaming, awesome performances on the guitars and bass along with equally impressive pounding on the ol' drums, FireSoldier is sure to please. But there is one area where these band members feel complete conviction.

"One thing that I think can be said about us, in our opinion, is that we are different...or at least we aspire to be. We don't like following the crowd... To be the band that is the flavor of the moment.... that's not what we want to be.

Really, we just wanna play music, wanna play what we love, whether kids like it or not... we really aren't out to please anybody, We are out here doing what we believe we are called to do and  to hopefully show kids that God loves them...that's all that matters right now, that's all that matters." -vocalist

People have this really negative few about christian  music, they look at it as if it is inferior some how, and these are things that hopefully are changing, we wanna play our part  in fixing that mindset.. we wanna show them what we can do musically... so that we debunk a few stereotypes. Also we want people to know that we are christian, because that is our belief... but that we won't be forcing it on anyone else ... because, honestly most people  don't buy into the lame hell's fire speech anyways... I know personally what's like to get that speech and I'm telling, I wasn't interested in it, it took love to get me to change, and  there is no love or mercy in the message of Hell.

People automatically assume that because your christian... they have to act a certain way around you... but honestly we're cool with how people are, it may not be the way we choose to live our lives, but we are not gonna be judging someone because of the choices they make... we wanna be easy to get along with.. we want to act out of love.. so now that we got that out of the way, we want to make it clear that we are NOT a worship band. That's just not what we do, there are plenty of worship cd's out there that you shouldn't need to expect that from us.

So for now this is us, six members, two of us reigning from southern saskatchewan, and a love for heavy music.
